SARAH WINTER
Art Therapist - Somatic Therapist - Neurodiversity Coach - Counsellor
Sarah Winter (she/they) has a Masters in Therapeutic Arts Practice, is an Open Floor ‘Therapy in Motion’ Practitioner, Open Floor 'Movement Teacher' & mother of two. She works from a strengths-based and trauma-informed model, with children, teens and adults.
Sarah believes passionately in the healing power of the Arts, and the benefit of anchoring personal insights with integrative practices that help to build more robust pathways to becoming fuller, more alive, emotionally intelligent human beings. She believes that creative expression can have a profound effect on well being. Sarah skillfully facilitates creative processes that help individuals to access parts of themselves that cannot always be expressed with words. This, in turn, allows a deeper sense of self-awareness and shifts in habitual patterns. She is passionate about anchoring the insights developed during each session, with practical and creative strategies, that help individuals to establish new and preferred ways of being. She believes that by making the seemingly 'invisible, visible' we have the opportunity to identify patterns of behaviour that in turn, help us to formulate clearer steps towards positive change.
